My dad George was the father of 5 children. Julie, Tina, Kevin, Aimee and Ian. He was a long distance lorry driver who never suffered a day's illness in his life. He was a handsome funny man who made me feel safe. His size and reputation went before him with people from far and wide having great respect for him. He was known countrywide for his love of dog shows and his dog breeding skills. He was snatched away from us at only 40 years old as was my brother Kevin who was only 46. I take great comfort that they will at last be together again, looking down on us and probably taking the mickey!! I have had great tales to tell my 2 children, Vicky and James about you, who were not able to meet you, but I'm sure you would be proud of them. Although it has been 29 years since I saw you dad, not a day goes by when I dont think of you, I miss you terribly and will love you always.

As Father's Day Approches: If roses grew in Heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me, place them in my dad's arms & tell him they're from me! ~Tell him that I love & miss him and when he turns to smile ~ place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for awhile ~ Because remembering him is easy ~ I do it everyday~ Theres an ache with.........in.. my.. heart that will never go away! What can I say about our dad, you have been gone for so long, but you are never out of our thoughts dad, you have your eldest son with you now and I know that you will be taking care of him. We miss you and I know that so many other people miss you too. You were a giant in our lives and someone that can never be replaced, but where ever you are, we hope that you are happy and thinking about us, like we think about you. Happy birthday dad until we all meet again, we love you and will never stopped loving you, look after our Kevin for us and watch over all your loving family. Godbless xxxxxx
